"In addition to investigative engineering for
both building
and site forensics
and litigation
support, CPL
provides extensive engineering reviews and analysis...to ultimately enhance
a client's bottom
line on a given project."

For over 30 years, Chester, Ploussas, Lisowsky Partnership, LLP has provided professional planning, architecture, engineering and surveying services to the building communities throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

From time to time they were called upon to provide expert testimony involving construction disputes for existing clients. Recognizing the need for experienced experts outside of their general client base, Chester, Ploussas, Lisowsky Partnership, LLP formed an entire division devoted to construction litigation and building forensics. This division caters specifically to builders, developers, attorneys and insurance companies. The Chester, Ploussas, Lisowsky Partnership, LLP Forensic Construction Division is staffed with experienced licensed professionals who are capable of assessing a wide variety of construction defects.

STRATEGIC PLANNING

As experts, their job is to provide the attorney or insurance company with the facts necessary to successfully subrogate or mediate the dispute. They achieve this goal by first reviewing any data relevant to the case. An initial field observation is then scheduled. Upon completion of the initial observation a general report is prepared separating any defects that may have merit from those which are unwarranted. Once the significant issues are identified and addressed, they then begin to formulate the strategy that best suits the insured, or agrieved party.
